ONIXS: stock token lending, borrowing and shorting on Robinhood Chain
Deposit stock tokens. Shorts borrow and pay rent daily. Earn on-chain. Non-custodial. All transparent.
Contract address coming soon: it is posted here, on X and nowhere else.Seven things a stock token can do on ONIXS
From your own wallet, on Morpho markets that ONIXS lists and cannot take over.
- 3stocks at launch: SPY, QQQ, NVDA01
Lend a stock token, collect rent
Deposit SPY, QQQ or NVDA into its leasehold. Every token goes into one Morpho market where shorts borrow it, and the interest they pay accrues to lenders by the second. Withdraw whenever the stock is not out on loan.
- USDGthe only dollar the markets take02
Lend USDG to people borrowing against stock
Supply USDG to the market where stock lenders borrow dollars against their leasehold shares. You earn what those borrowers pay, and their collateral is stock still collecting rent of its own.
- 62.5%of posted stock's value, the borrow limit03
Borrow USDG without selling the stock
Post leasehold shares and take USDG against them, up to 62.5% of their value. The stock beneath never leaves lending, so rent keeps landing on the collateral while you spend the dollars.
- …deepest stock pool a short sells into04
Short a stock in a single transaction
Put up USDG margin; your berth borrows the stock, sells it on its Uniswap pool and keeps the proceeds as collateral. Closing buys the stock back and returns whatever USDG is left. Shorts pay the rent lenders earn.
- 1.8xmax, SPY / QQQ / NVDA only05
Lean into SPY, QQQ or NVDA at up to 1.8x
Your USDG plus a USDG loan in your berth's name buys more of the stock in one go. The stock is lent and posted, so the long collects rent until you close it, and closing unwinds every step in one transaction.
- Long NVDAShort QQQ06
Pair trades: long one, short another
Back NVDA against the index, or QQQ against SPY, with both legs opened by one signature. The long leg is lent out underneath, so rent earned on one side offsets part of the rent paid on the other.

$ONIXS for lenders, later
The plan is to share $ONIXS among stock and USDG lenders on top of rent, counted from on-chain balances. Nothing is distributed until that contract exists, and nothing about its value is promised.
Where the rent comes from
Shorting needs shares to sell. On ONIXS those shares come from lenders, and the price of borrowing them is rent: an interest rate set by how much of the stock is already out.
Supply meets demand
Every listed stock has one Morpho market where it is the asset lent and USDG is the collateral. Lenders supply through the stock's leasehold; shorts borrow from the same market.
The rate floats
Morpho's adaptive model aims for 90% of the stock to be out on loan. Below that the rate drifts down, above it the rate climbs fast. No one at ONIXS sets it.
Interest lands on lenders
What shorts owe grows every second. That growth is the leasehold's balance growing, so each lender's share is worth more stock over time. Nothing has to be claimed.
Posted stock keeps earning
Leasehold shares can be posted as collateral for USDG, or bought by a leveraged long. Either way the stock underneath stays lent and keeps collecting rent.

The rules, before any money moves
Each line is the short version. Open it for the whole rule, or read them all on one page.
All rules on one pageA fast jump can cost lenders stock
Each short is backed by USDG worth more than the stock it owes. If a stock leaps so far, so fast, that a short cannot be liquidated before its USDG runs out, Morpho books the missing stock as bad debt, and every lender in that stock's market absorbs it pro rata. Lenders are paid rent for carrying exactly this risk.
A short has no ceiling on its loss
A stock can keep rising. When a short's debt passes the market's limit, anyone may liquidate it on Morpho: they hand back part of the stock and collect USDG from the margin plus an incentive. You can lose all of the margin you put in.
Prices rest on weekends, and so do new positions
ONIXS prices everything with Chainlink's Robinhood stock-token feeds. They update around the clock from Sunday evening to Friday evening, New York time, then pause. Opening a short, a long or a pair needs a feed answer younger than 26 hours, so new positions wait for Monday. Closing never waits: it only needs the pool. Whatever the stock did over the weekend reaches the feed in one step on Sunday night.
Lent stock can be out on loan
Stock that shorts have borrowed is not in the market until they return it. If every token of a stock is out, lenders withdraw as returns come in. Morpho's rate model climbs steeply as a market nears full use, which is what brings borrowers back.
A USDG loan against stock can be liquidated
USDG loans against lent stock go up to 62.5% of its worth. Beyond that line a liquidator may repay part of the loan and take posted stock in return, keeping an incentive on top. The stock you post stays lent, so a bad-debt loss in the stock's lending market lowers what you posted as well.
Leverage multiplies both directions
A leveraged long buys more stock than your USDG alone could, with a loan taken in your berth's name. The most is 1.8 times your margin, offered only on SPY, QQQ and NVDA. At 1.8x a 10% drop in the stock costs about 18% of your margin, and a fall of roughly 29% reaches the liquidation line.
Your positions sit in your own berth
The first trade creates a berth: a small contract only your wallet can operate. Shorts, longs and pairs are Morpho positions held by that berth, never by a shared pool. ONIXS contracts keep nothing between transactions, and your berth has a direct exit: your wallet can call Morpho itself through it to repay, withdraw or move tokens out.
The owner lists and pauses, nothing more
The ONIXS owner is one address written into the Charter when it was deployed, and it can never be changed or handed over. It can add a stock with fixed settings and can stop new positions on a listing. It cannot change a listing's markets, pool or limits after the fact, cannot close or move anyone's position, and cannot block a close. Lending and withdrawing happen on contracts that have no owner at all.
The issuer controls the stock token
Robinhood issues these stock tokens and can pause transfers, block an address or burn tokens. A pause or a block that touched Morpho, a leasehold or a berth would freeze the positions inside until it was lifted. ONIXS cannot override the issuer.
One-step trades meet a real pool
Shorting sells borrowed stock, and leverage buys it, on the stock's Uniswap pool. A large order moves that pool's price; ONIXS refuses an opening fill further than 3% from the Chainlink price and always honours the minimum you set. Pool depth is shown on every panel.
Rent accrues every second
Rent is Morpho interest on borrowed stock. It accrues continuously and compounds each time the market is touched; the rate floats with how much of the stock is out on loan. ‘Paid daily’ means your balance is a little larger every day, not that a payment lands at a fixed hour.
$ONIXS rewards come later and promise nothing
Lenders are meant to earn $ONIXS on top of rent once a rewards contract exists. It does not exist yet, so no rewards are counted or owed today. $ONIXS carries no guaranteed value and may go to zero.
Short answers about ONIXS
What is ONIXS?
ONIXS is a stock token lending protocol on Robinhood Chain. You lend tokenized shares such as SPY, QQQ or NVDA and earn rent from people who borrow them to short. You can also borrow USDG against lent stock, open a short or a leveraged long in one transaction, or trade one stock against another.
How does ONIXS work?
Each listed stock has two Morpho markets. In the first, the stock is lent and USDG is the collateral: lenders supply through the stock's leasehold contract and shorts borrow from it. In the second, USDG is lent against leasehold shares, so lenders can borrow dollars without selling. Shorts, longs and pairs run through a berth, a small contract each wallet owns, which borrows, swaps on Uniswap and posts collateral in one transaction.
Where does the rent come from?
From shorts. Borrowing a stock token costs interest, set by Morpho's adaptive rate model from how much of the stock is out on loan. That interest accrues every second to the market's lenders, which is why a leasehold share is worth a little more stock each day.
Which network is ONIXS on?
Robinhood Chain mainnet, chain id 4663, with ETH for gas. The connect dialog adds the network to your wallet if it is missing. Phantom cannot add custom networks, so it is shown but disabled.
How do I buy $ONIXS?
$ONIXS launches on the Pons launchpad on Robinhood Chain. The contract address is published on this site and on X at launch; until then the copy buttons read 'At launch'. Always check the address before buying, because look-alike tokens reuse names.
What happens over the weekend?
The stock feeds pause from Friday to Sunday evening, New York time. ONIXS refuses new shorts, longs and pairs when a feed is older than 26 hours, so nothing new is sized on a stale price. Closing, repaying, lending and withdrawing keep working.
